The Cabinet Media Center denied reports on cancelling the computer subject for the secondary stage. In a statement on Sunday 1-09-2024, the media center said it has contacted the Education and Technical Education Ministry, which refuted these reports as "baseless". The ministry added the subject was not cancelled, as it was included as an optional activity in the ministerial decision under the name of technology, entrepreneurship and projects, so that the student can choose between technology (computer) or entrepreneurship and projects. The center, meanwhile, urged all media outlets to seek accuracy and objectivity before publishing news and information about the country, advising them to contact the bodies concerned to avoid sparking confusion among the public.
