Hebrew media announced, on Tuesday, the launch of about 100 rockets from Lebanon towards Haifa Bay. The Israeli army radio reported that the rocket barrage that targeted Haifa is the largest the city has been exposed to. The army said: "We monitored the launch of 85 rockets from Lebanon towards Haifa Bay and the Galilee, and attempts were made to intercept them. The Hebrew Channel 12 reported that at least 5 rockets fell in Haifa and the Krayot." For his part, the mayor of Haifa said that a building in Haifa Bay was hit and we requested the evacuation of chemical factories in Haifa Bay, but we did not receive a response, and we also need budgets to enhance protection for the old residential neighborhoods in the city.
