Qom: Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem has declared that the Islamic Republic of Iran is the government of the 12th and last Shia Imam, Imam Mahdi (AS), and emphasized that resistance is the path to hasten his reappearance. In a video speech during the Mid-Shaban ceremony in Iran's Qom, Sheikh Naim Qassem highlighted the crucial link between Mahdaviat, Wilayah, and resistance, asserting that the Islamic Republic of Iran represents the government of Imam Mahdi (AS) and that the path of the Islamic Revolution will pave the way for the realization of the divine promise of his return.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sheikh Qassem underlined the significance of Mahdaviat in the salvation of humanity, portraying Imam Mahdi as the hope for all oppressed people globally and the definitive divine promise for establishing justice on earth. He discussed the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran as an exceptional achievement on the path of Entezar, or the patient waiting for the Imam's return.

Qassem noted that the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran under Imam Khomeini's leadership, especially during a time of significant global arrogance, marked a monumental step toward preparing for Imam Mahdi's reappearance. He stressed that this journey continues strongly under the guidance of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The Hezbollah chief further elaborated that the path of Imam Mahdi is inherently linked to Wilayah, emphasizing that commitment to the leadership of velayat-e faqih, standing against tyrants, the United States, and the Zionist regime, along with self-sacrifice on the path of resistance, are crucial manifestations of true Entezar and efforts to hasten the reappearance.
