Beirut: Hezbollah's secretary general has asserted that Iran possesses the capability to overcome the United States and Israel in any potential conflict, as tensions rise with the US deploying its warships to the region. Sheikh Naim Qassem made these remarks during a ceremony, emphasizing Iran's resilience and its ability to triumph in ongoing confrontations.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sheikh Qassem extended his congratulations to the Iranian nation, government, and leadership on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. He described Iran as a significant global entity, stating, "Iran is the crown jewel of the world. It will endure and can defeat the United States and Israel in the confrontation currently underway, because anyone who stands with Almighty God is bound to be victorious."

Sheikh Qassem also addressed current issues in Lebanon, declaring that the country is no longer bound by last year's ceasefire agreement with Israel. He advocated for a five-member monitoring committee to urge Israel to adhere to the agreement rather than placing pressure on Lebanon.
