Beirut: Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem has expressed gratitude to Iran over its support for Lebanon in the face of the Israeli regime's aggression on his country. In a message addressed to Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Sheikh Qassem conveyed his appreciation for Iran's unwavering stance and effective assistance, which he believes compelled the Israeli regime to cease its military operations in Lebanon.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sheikh Qassem emphasized Iran's role in standing with justice, the Resistance, and the oppressed. He remarked that if other countries had followed Iran's example, the United States and Israel would not have become so dominant, and the Zionist occupation over Palestine and al-Quds would have ended.
