Tehran: An official delegation from Lebanon's resistance movement Hezbollah, led by Muhammad Fneish, met with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran on Saturday during a visit to attend a ceremony honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the delegation, which included Hezbollah's senior officials, said it was representing Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem. Fneish conveyed Sheikh Qassem's condolences and greetings to Iran's Leader, president, government, and people. He expressed sympathy over the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei, members of his family, military commanders, officials, and civilians during recent attacks by the United States and the Israeli regime.

He also commended Iran's support for Lebanon's territorial integrity and national sovereignty. Araghchi thanked the Hezbollah delegation for attending the memorial ceremony and for delivering Sheikh Qassem's message.
The top diplomat described Hezbollah's resistance against the Israeli regime as a source of pride for Lebanon and the wider Muslim world, reaffirming Iran's continued support for the resistance movement. The Iranian foreign minister also paid tribute to the martyred secretary general of Hezbollah-Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah-and other Hezbollah members killed in the conflict, saying Iran would continue pursuing an end to the war in Lebanon and the cessation of occupation in line with the first clause of the ceasefire memorandum.
