Beirut: The secretary general of Lebanon's Hezbollah movement has extended congratulations to Iran on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, celebrating the nation's resilience and influential role in regional politics.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sheikh Naim Qassem lauded Iran's enduring strength and stability despite facing decades of external pressures. He emphasized the significant leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in navigating the country through these challenges.

Sheikh Qassem also highlighted the Islamic Republic's commitment since its inception to align with oppressed peoples globally. He acknowledged Iran's contributions to reviving resistance movements in the region and reiterated its support for the Palestinian cause.
