Under the patronage of Al Baha Governor Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud Al-Saud, the 16th International Honey Festival will kick off tomorrow at the headquarters of the Beekeepers Cooperative Association (BCA) in Baljurashi Governorate. The festival, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), will run for 14 days until August 5. It will feature 90 local beekeepers showcasing their products and participants from seven countries. Nine government, private, and voluntary organizations will also participate in the event. The Director-General of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture branch in Al-Baha, Eng. Fahd Muftah Al-Zahrani, described the festival as one of the Kingdom's most important agricultural events, attracting exhibitors and specialists from around the world each year.
