Hormozgan IRGC Commander Highlights Iran’s Persian Gulf Security Based on National Resolve

Bandar abbas: The commander of the IRGC's Imam Sajjad Division in Hormozgan province, Brigadier General Hassan Sanatkaran, emphasized that Iran's security and authority in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf are deeply rooted in national faith and resistance against external pressures. This statement was made during a Journalists' Day ceremony held in Bandar Abbas, which was also attended by IRGC spokesman Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Sanatkaran remarked that adversarial forces have consistently failed in their anti-Iranian strategies, which have included attempts at subversion and military aggression. He noted that since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, hostile powers have engaged in regime-change efforts through an imposed war, sanctions, and targeted sabotage, all of which have been unsuccessful.

General Sanatkaran also commended the vital role of journalists in communicating Iran's military achievements to the public, referring to them as 'soft war officers' who are responsible for documenting the nation's history for the benefit of future generations.
