The Support and Relief Committee for the Lebanese People at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali announced the opening of its visitor cities to accommodate the increasing influx of displaced Lebanese families after the overcrowding of hotels and guest houses prepared for the first batch for the displaced. The head of the committee, Salam Al-Jubouri, said in a statement, reported by the News Center, that "after the capacity of the guest houses and hotels affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali was completed, the General Secretariat began opening visitor cities around the old city to host families, including the city of Imam Hassan, which can accommodate 750 families." Al-Jubouri added, "The number of displaced people since the beginning of the Zionist aggression has reached 1723 families." Al-Jubouri pointed out that "the committee is working to prepare and provide all health, pharmaceutical, treatment services and necessary needs, indicating that a specialized female cadre has been prepared to stand on all the needs of the families and provide them, and an ambulance has been allocated to transport emergency cases."
