Qeshm: Mourners in Qeshm attend the funeral procession and burial of Qaisar Jafari, Zahra Jafari, and their two-year-old son, Sina Jafari, who were killed in a US attack on the Chah-Tangu neighborhood of the island. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the funeral was held on August 4, 2026, alongside the Arbaeen pilgrims' march. Large crowds of residents, officials, and the families of the victims attended the procession, before the three were laid to rest in a local cemetery.
