As reported by India TV, the government announced today that three central hospitals in the country would serve as isolation facilities in the event of a confirmed case. While India has not reported any cases of mpox to date, surveillance measures have been put in place to ensure prompt detection and response. Monkeypox, a viral disease commonly found in the tropical rainforests of Central and West Africa, spreads through close contact with an infected person, animal, or contaminated items.
