The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today, Friday, the martyrdom of three people and 17 wounded in the initial toll of the Israeli raid on Al-Qaim area in the southern suburb of Beirut. Israeli media had reported that "initial estimates indicate that the Israeli raid was carried out during a meeting of Hezbollah leaders." The Israeli Army Radio quoted a senior Israeli official as saying that "the target of the assassination is (Ibrahim Aqil) and it is not clear whether he was assassinated," noting that "the target is (Aqil) and a number of Radwan leaders and officials responsible for plans to control the Galilee." The Lebanese Civil Defense said, "Two residential buildings in the Jamous neighborhood in the southern suburbs of Beirut collapsed as a result of the Israeli aggression."
