The Intelligence and Security Directorate overthrew seven drug dealers in Baghdad and Babylon. The Directorate stated in a statement: 'The detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate arrested (5) drug dealers red handed in various areas of the capital, and judicial warrants were issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article (28) Drugs.' It added: 'In the same context, the detachments of the Babylon Intelligence and Security Directorate arrested two drug dealers in the governorate and seized quantities of crystal and narcotic pills in their possession, which were confiscated and referred to the competent authority.'
