Iran Achieves Developed Nation Status in Nuclear Science

Tunis:Iran has attained the level of developed countries in nuclear science and technology, according to Vice President and Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Chief Mohammad Eslami. He stated on Tuesday that Iran is now producing the equipment and systems needed by its national industries domestically.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Eslami emphasized the potential of Iran's scientific talent, creativity, and managerial capacity to advance the country in the fields of science and technology. He highlighted the importance of management in supporting the development of talent and ensuring that scientific achievements benefit the Iranian people.

Eslami addressed opposition to Iran's access to nuclear technology, asserting it would not impact the country's scientific capabilities. He also mentioned incidents involving attacks by the Israeli regime and the United States on Iran's industrial infrastructure, targeting sensitive processes in refineries, petrochemical plants, and steel facilities. Due to foreign suppliers' refusal to provide or repair equipment, Eslami explained that the AEOI has developed and manufactured domestic alternatives that meet current standards for industrial use.

He portrayed nuclear technology as a tool for improving lives, enhancing national capabilities, and promoting development, noting that the average age of specialists in this field is approximately 35. Eslami also underscored the importance of comprehensive standards covering goods, services, processes, and performance, stressing that quality and continuous technological improvement are crucial for sustained progress.
