Iran Air to Resume International Flights on Five Routes

Tehran: Iran Air, the national airline of the Islamic Republic, has announced the resumption of its international flights starting tomorrow, April 25, 2026. The flag carrier will operate flights on five routes departing from Imam Khomeini International Airport.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the reinstatement of these flights comes after receiving the necessary permits from relevant authorities. The decision to resume operations is aimed at addressing the passenger demand for travel to destinations such as Istanbul, Baku, Doha, Najaf, and Baghdad.

The suspension of flights had been in place since late February, following increased tensions in the region and the US-Israeli attacks on Iran. The resumption marks a significant step towards normalizing air travel for the region's passengers.
