Beijing: The Islamic Republic of Iran and China have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand mutual cooperation in the arts. This agreement, signed by Majid Shah Hosseini, Head of the Iranian Academy of Arts, and Zhao Qingfu, Chief of the National Academy of Arts of China, marks a significant step in cultural collaboration between the two nations.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the MoU aims to preserve and promote art while facilitating exchanges of artists between Iran and China. The document covers several areas, including policy-making, artistic training, and the translation of works by art scholars from both countries. This initiative is expected to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other’s cultural heritage.
