Tehran: Iran's consul general in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Alireza Mahmoudi, met with his Saudi counterpart, Abdullah bin Mansour al-Mutawa, to discuss practical steps for strengthening bilateral cooperation. The meeting highlighted the importance of expanding economic ties and boosting trade exchanges between the two nations, with a focus on supporting merchants and improving consular services for citizens in the UAE.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the discussions also emphasized enhancing the speed and quality of consular services provided to the citizens of both countries. This cooperative effort aims to facilitate smoother interactions and services for Iranians and Saudis residing or doing business in the UAE.
Mahmoudi also released a video message on Monday to congratulate the United Arab Emirates on the 54th anniversary of its national day, officially known as the Festival of the Union. This gesture further underscores the importance of maintaining and strengthening diplomatic and economic relations in the region.
