Dushanbe:The Iranian ambassador to Tajikistan and the Tajik Minister of Transport have held a meeting to discuss the expansion of cooperation in transport and transit sectors.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ambassador Alireza Haqiqian and Minister Azim Ibrohim met on Thursday, October 15, 2026, to explore ways to further develop and enhance collaboration between their countries.

The discussions focused on the friendly relations and existing potential for increased cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral engagement in the transport and transit sectors.
