Tehran: Scheduled flights between Iran and the United Arab Emirates are set to resume this week, as announced by the spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Majid Akhavan stated that the decision came after negotiations between civil aviation authorities from both Iran and the UAE, complemented by diplomatic efforts. This move is aimed at reestablishing scheduled air services with neighboring countries. Initially, Iranian airlines, once confirmed by the UAE, will restart flights to the Emirates. Akhavan further mentioned that in the subsequent phase, Emirati airlines will also resume their operations after the UAE finalizes its approved carriers. This progression is expected to restore normal bilateral cooperation and interactions in the field of air transport.
