Iran Appoints Representative for Expo 2027 Belgrade National Pavilion

Tehran: Iran has appointed Kasra Nouri, chief executive of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company, as the country's representative for organizing Iran's national pavilion at Expo 2027 Belgrade. Nouri was appointed by First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref on Monday following a proposal by Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Mohammad Atabak. He will oversee preparations for Iran's participation in the three-month global exhibition, scheduled to take place in the Serbian capital from May 15 to August 15, 2027.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Expo 2027 Belgrade is expected to bring together more than 137 countries, including Iran, under the theme 'Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.' The event aims to showcase countries' cultural, economic, and technological capabilities through exhibitions centered on play, sport, and music. Iran will have a dedicated exhibition hall for its national pavilion where it plans to present achievements and capabilities aligned with the Expo's main theme.
