Tehran:Iranian Army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia has issued a stern warning to the United States, cautioning that any renewed military operations against Iran would lead to a wider regional conflict.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Akraminia’s warning was posted on X, amid increased hostilities as the US and Israel intensify their military rhetoric against Iran. This comes even as diplomatic efforts are underway to resume negotiations between Tehran and Washington.

General Akraminia emphasized Iran’s continued mistrust of US actions, citing the “dark record” of the US president in betraying diplomatic efforts. He assured that the Iranian Army is actively enhancing its combat readiness and monitoring US movements closely. The spokesperson specifically addressed US President Donald Trump, warning that any new military adventurism under pressure from Israel would lead to widespread conflict beyond the current borders, with Trump unable to control the war’s outcome.

President Trump has increased his threats of significant new military actions against Iran, correlating these threats with his campaign activities for the upcoming midterm elections scheduled for November 3. He has stated that any new military engagement would aim to conclude the war initiated with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on February 28.
