Tehran: Iran's deputy energy minister announced that the country's power grid is stable and that recent outages in Tehran and Alborz have been resolved.
According to Nam News Network, citing Tasnim News Agency, the minister's statement came after numerous areas in Iran, including parts of Tehran and the northern city of Alborz, experienced power outages on Sunday. These disruptions were linked to US-Israeli attacks targeting electricity infrastructure.
The region has been on high alert following the US and Israel's air offensive on Iran, which commenced on February 28. The attacks have resulted in over 1,340 casualties, including the death of then Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets.
