Iran Backs Any Decision Hezbollah Makes: Senior Advisor.

Tehran: The senior advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has restated the Islamic Republic of Iran's support for any decision to be made by the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah. The conflicts in southern Lebanon highlight the Israeli regime's irrationality and failure, IRNA quoted Ali Larijani as saying in an interview with Al Mayadeen early on Saturday. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Larijani said he was carrying a direct message from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to Syrian President Bashar Assad and Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. The messages mainly reiterated the support for the Syrian and Lebanese nations and resistance, Larijani stated. He emphasized that the draft of a potential truce agreement in Lebanon includes articles that will lead to a deal if the United States and the Israeli regime do not violate them. Larijani expressed confidence in Hezbollah's leadership, noting that "Hezbollah with its wise commanders has a mature political rati onality." He also commented on the policies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, suggesting that Netanyahu's aspirations to change the Middle East are unattainable due to his reliance on U.S. strength. Larijani argued that the formation of a new Middle East could only be achieved by those who resist on the battlefield. He further assured that victory would be achieved as the Zionist genocidal acts in the Gaza Strip have strengthened the resolve and power of the people in the region. Larijani, leading a delegation, departed for Damascus on Thursday, November 14, to engage in discussions with top Syrian officials. Subsequently, he visited Lebanon, where he met with senior officials and exchanged views on the latest regional developments.
