Iran Closely Monitoring Enemy, Ready for Decisive Response: Army Chief

Tehran: The commander-in-chief of Iran's Army says the armed forces are closely monitoring the enemy and stand fully prepared to deliver a decisive response to any act of aggression.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Major General Amir Hatami, speaking on the sidelines of a meeting between a group of Air Force commanders, officers, and personnel and the chief of staff of the armed forces, emphasized that vigilance and readiness remain a top priority. The meeting was held to mark the Army Air Force Day.

'We are closely monitoring the enemy and are ready to respond decisively to any mischief,' Hatami said. He further noted that the Army Air Force has made significant progress and highlighted its role during the 12-day imposed war, carrying out its missions with courage and honor.

Hatami reflected on the steadfast resistance of the armed forces that ultimately led the enemy to request a ceasefire. He issued a warning to Iran's adversaries against making any new miscalculations. 'We hope the enemy does not make another mistake, but if it does, the Army Air Force will certainly play a major role in responding,' he stated.

Addressing the presence of US warships in the region, Hatami remarked that such deployments have been a common occurrence since the victory of the Islamic Revolution. He emphasized that Iran's duty is to maintain readiness, monitor enemy movements, and prepare for a firm response.
