Tehran: Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baqaei, has issued a strong condemnation of the Zionist regime's continued actions in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the recent killing of civilians and the assassination of Palestinian activists.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei stated that since the announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza, nearly 800 Palestinians, many of them women and children, have been killed in attacks by the Israeli regime. He criticized the occupying Zionist regime for allegedly using the ceasefire as a facade to continue acts of genocide and further a colonial agenda to eradicate Palestine.
Baqaei also attributed direct responsibility to the United States for the Israeli regime's actions, pointing to its sustained military and political support. He called upon all governments, the United Nations, human rights organizations, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to fulfill their legal and moral obligations by taking decisive and responsible action to stop these crimes and hold the perpetrators accountable.
