Tehran: The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the Israeli regime's air and ground attacks on the Syrian defense, civilian, and research infrastructure in the provinces of Damascus, Homs, Hama, and Daraa. Esmaeil Baqaei stated that the Islamic Republic emphasizes the importance of safeguarding Syria's territorial integrity and national sovereignty as a historic nation in the West Asia region.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei highlighted the repeated violations of Syrian soil, targeting valuable defense assets, and the occupation of strategic areas by the Israeli regime. He remarked that all involved parties share responsibility for these aggressions by Israel. Baqaei further noted that Iran had already warned regional countries about the expansion of Israeli occupation and its aggressive actions against Syria and neighboring countries.

Baqaei urged the international community, especially regional countries and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to take immediate actions to stop Israel's violations. He called for measures to end the regime's impunity and hold it accountable for its breaches of law, ongoing attacks on regional countries, and the genocide in Gaza.
