Islamabad: The meeting brought together representatives of Pakistani news networks, newspapers, and influential online commentators, who exchanged views on regional developments, the outlook for Iran's nuclear talks, and the role of media in strengthening public ties between the two countries.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Iran's ambassador, Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, praised 'the spirit of resistance among regional nations and the fair reflection of developments in Iran' by Pakistani media outlets. He emphasized the importance of the recent events that demonstrated Pakistan's support for Iran's narrative while rejecting those promoted by the United States and Israel.
Amiri-Moghaddam highlighted the evolving nature of modern conflicts, which are increasingly shaped by competing narratives, and stressed the decisive role played by media organizations in Iran and Pakistan in this context. He underscored the significant role of these media in presenting and explaining Iran's perspective during a 12-day imposed war, as well as the important agreements reached between Iran and Pakistan over the past year.
