Minab:Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab, Hormozgan Province, is set to be fully equipped with smart technology, according to Deputy President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy Hossein Afshin.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Afshin addressed reporters during the opening ceremony of the newly rebuilt school, highlighting that President Masoud Pezeshkian was unable to attend due to prior commitments. Afshin conveyed the president's greetings and expressed sympathy to the people of Hormozgan, especially the families of the student martyrs.

Afshin emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring that the educational progress of students in Iran continues uninterrupted. He stated that the reconstruction of Shajareh Tayyebeh School was a priority for the government, which has committed to equipping it with advanced technology and laboratories for local students.

The school was destroyed during a conflict initiated by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28, resulting in the death of 168 school children on the first day of the war.
