Tehran:Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has stated that the country holds no hostility toward the member states of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) and is committed to continuing discussions with Saudi Arabia.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Araghchi highlighted in a recent interview with Al Jazeera, which he later referenced in a post on X, that Iran is open to maintaining peaceful relations with PGCC countries. He acknowledged the constructive contributions of Qatar and Oman in fostering dialogue and reiterated Iran's willingness to engage with Saudi Arabia.
Araghchi further emphasized Iran's interest in establishing new regional security frameworks led by the regional countries themselves, explicitly excluding the military involvement of external powers.
