TEHRAN: Iranian researchers have successfully produced the OptoHb analyzer, a cutting-edge medical device designed to measure hemoglobin concentration in blood. This development marks Iran's entry into the limited group of countries capable of manufacturing such advanced technology. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the OptoHb analyzer was developed by an Iranian knowledge-based company with support from the Iran National Innovation Fund (INIF). This achievement not only fulfills domestic demand for the analyzing system but also opens up opportunities for exporting the device, as highlighted in a report from the INIF. The OptoHb analyzer is crucial for various medical settings, including operating rooms, intensive care units, ambulances, and blood transfusion centers. Its production by Iran signifies a significant advancement in the nation's medical technology capabilities.
