New delhi: Iran's Judiciary is prepared to facilitate and expedite the handling of judicial and legal cases involving Iranian and Indian traders and economic actors engaged in joint business activities, Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Eje'i announced. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, during a meeting with Iranian and Indian businesspeople in New Delhi on Friday, Mohseni-Eje'i emphasized the importance of removing obstacles to enhance financial and commercial relations between the two countries. He stated that the Judiciary was ready to hear directly from traders about legal and other barriers impeding bilateral trade and collaborate with relevant authorities to address them within the framework of the law. Mohseni-Eje'i, who was visiting India to attend a BRICS summit, underscored the long-standing history of commercial exchanges between Iran and India and called for increased cooperation to prevent obstacles from disrupting bilateral economic ties. He attributed some of the challenges face d by Iranian and Indian traders to US economic measures against Iran. The Judiciary chief highlighted that collaboration between the governments and business communities of Iran and India could help overcome many of these difficulties. He assured that Iran's Judiciary would provide all possible assistance within its legal authority to support traders and economic actors and facilitate the growth of bilateral commercial relations.
