Baalbek: A senior Hezbollah official has praised Iran’s leadership under Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, saying the Islamic Republic of Iran has established a model for an advanced Islamic civilization rooted in faith, knowledge, and resistance.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Mahmoud Qomati, a former minister and member of Hezbollah’s political council, made the remarks on Monday evening during a solidarity conference with the Islamic Republic held in Baalbek. Qomati emphasized that the day symbolized a victory of belief over force and celebrated a power built on faith and conviction.

Qomati asserted that Iran, under the guidance of Ayatollah Khamenei, has created a civilization that stands resilient against oppression and domination through science, progress, and independence. He highlighted that Iran’s achievements have been realized despite challenges, including an imposed Israeli conflict.

The Hezbollah official also addressed the actions of U.S. President Donald Trump and his allies, accusing them of attempting to misrepresent the truth and damage the reputation of Iran’s leader. Qomati expressed confidence that these efforts would fail to affect Ayatollah Khamenei’s esteemed position.

Qomati reiterated Hezbollah’s dedication to defending Lebanon, pledging to continue protecting their land and resisting any attempts at occupation or undermining their dignity.
