Tehran: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has expressed sympathy with the government and people of Nepal following the floods and landslides in that country.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, following devastating floods and landslides in parts of Nepal-which resulted in hundreds of deaths and disappearances, as well as the destruction of infrastructure and homes-Baqaei expressed sympathy with the government and people of Nepal, particularly the families of the victims and the missing, and wished a speedy recovery to those affected.
