Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has reaffirmed the nation's commitment to safeguarding its independence, dignity, and territorial integrity amidst ongoing pressures and threats. He highlighted national cohesion as Iran's most crucial asset in these challenging times.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, President Pezeshkian, during his address on June 12, outlined the government's key priorities in governance, healthcare, the economy, and social development. He stressed the importance of addressing public demands and leveraging domestic capabilities to tackle national challenges.

President Pezeshkian underscored the significance of empowering capable individuals, fostering collective cooperation, and utilizing domestic knowledge and expertise as the path to progress. He also identified severe imbalances in areas such as water, electricity, gas, energy, the banking system, and the environment as major challenges, alongside recent wars imposed by the United States and the Zionist regime. Despite these issues, Pezeshkian noted that they are being managed through public participation and resilience.

He also emphasized the crucial role of universities and scientific centers in addressing systemic imbalances and social injustices. By combining science, skill, and a drive for change, the necessary capacity to overcome these issues can be created.

Additionally, Pezeshkian highlighted that foreign attacks targeting Iran's leadership, military commanders, and scientists reveal calculated efforts by adversaries to impede the country's progress and development.
