Moscow: Iran will showcase its literary heritage at the 38th Moscow International Book Fair slated for September 3-7, 2025, with a 27-square-meter national pavilion organized by Iran’s House of Book and Literature and featuring over 300 titles.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the exhibit includes classical and contemporary literature, Iranology, Persian language resources and non-fiction works and will promote the Persian language and collaboration in translation and copyright while commemorating the 1,500th anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth.

Cultural Attach© Masoud Ahmadvand noted a selection for visitors that includes a section for children’s books.

The pavilion will highlight Iranian illustration and host events with author Marjan Fouladvand and illustrator Atefeh Maleki Jou, who will run workshops on children’s book illustration, storytelling and Iranian mythology.

Book presentations and meetings between publishers and authors are part of the program.

The Moscow International Book Fair will host over 300 publishers and distributors, with India as guest of honor, and will feature book launches, seminars, roundtables and workshops. The fair will emphasize the future of publishing, including digital formats and new technologies, and will offer over 100 events for children.
