Tehran: Iran has announced the launch of its second domestically-developed antivirus software, Ayyza, at the 29th edition of the ELECOMP Exhibition. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the unveiling took place alongside the country's largest exhibition for electronics, computer technologies, and e-commerce, showcasing the nation's advancements in cybersecurity.

Ayyza integrates XDR, EDR, and antivirus technologies, creating a comprehensive security ecosystem aimed at protecting Iran's digital infrastructure and assets. Its development is a reflection of Iran's increasing expertise and commitment to enhancing cyber resilience and self-reliance, especially in sectors like banking, industry, and communications.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials from various sectors, highlighting the strategic importance of such technologies in Iran's national defense strategy. The antivirus is a crucial component of Iran's passive defense documents, focusing on domestic capabilities and reducing reliance on foreign technologies.
