Tehran: Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has voiced concern over developments in Sudan, calling the announcement of the formation of a parallel government in Sudan contrary to the principle of national sovereignty and unity of the country, and warned of its destructive effects and consequences on the stability and security of Sudan.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei emphasized the need to respect the territorial integrity and unity of Sudan. He described continued foreign interference in the country’s affairs as very harmful. Baqaei stated that the solution to the Sudanese crisis lies in halting the conflicts and initiating Sudanese-Sudanese talks without foreign interference.
