Tehran: Iran's Armed Forces are maintaining a heightened state of readiness after a recent Israeli attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to Major General Ali Abdollahi, the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters. The senior commander emphasized that the Iranian military is prepared to deliver a decisive response to any aggressive actions against the country.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, General Abdollahi asserted that Iran's military capabilities, including combat, defense, missile, naval, drone, and air defense systems, have been significantly enhanced. These advancements have been made under the direction of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

The Iranian commander reiterated the nation's commitment to the liberation of al-Quds and avenging the blood of martyred leaders. He warned that any misstep by the enemy would be met with an unforgettable and definitive response.

The warning from General Abdollahi came shortly after Israeli forces conducted bombing operations in Beirut, breaching a ceasefire that Iran views as crucial to any diplomatic negotiations with Washington.

General Abdollahi highlighted the resilience of the Iranian populace, crediting their steadfastness for bolstering Iran's influence on the global stage. He also paid homage to the martyred commanders who have been pivotal in the Islamic Revolution's stance against arrogance and Zionism.

Reflecting on the events over the past year, including the 12-day war and recent hostilities from the US and Israel, the commander acknowledged the heavy losses suffered. Nonetheless, he described these challenges as opportunities to confront and settle disputes with aggressors, asserting the Iranian Armed Forces' capability to respond effectively, supported by the Iranian people and divine guidance.

General Abdollahi concluded with a stern message, stating that the Armed Forces are poised to respond to even the slightest provocation from the enemy, ensuring that any aggression will be met with a conclusive and memorable lesson.
