Iran: The Iranian Army has declared that the oil tanker Sili City has successfully entered the nation's territorial waters under the protection of the Navy.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Army stated on Tuesday that despite numerous warnings and threats from US naval forces, the tanker managed to navigate through the Arabian Sea and reached Iranian waters overnight without incident.

The statement further detailed that the Sili City is presently anchored securely at one of Iran's southern ports, having completed its journey with comprehensive naval protection.

US President Donald Trump had enforced a naval blockade on Iran as of April 12, following a two-week ceasefire between the two parties. The blockade has led to heightened tensions in the region, with the US military seizing a commercial Iranian vessel, Touska, on Monday, alleging it violated the blockade.
