Iranian Army Prepared for Any Threat, Says Commander

Baku:Deputy Executive Coordinator of the Iranian Army, Brigadier General Alireza Sheikh, stated that the Army's equipment has been upgraded, and its forces are prepared to respond to any threat.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Sheikh's remarks were made on Sunday, addressing threats against Iran that involved the possible use of a "mother of all bombs" in a conflict against the country.

Sheikh emphasized that the Iranian people, referred to as the "fathers of bombs," could have a more destructive impact than anticipated by the enemy, affecting their thoughts, psychology, mindset, and strategies. He described these threatening remarks as enemy propaganda designed to create fear and force the Iranian people to abandon their positions.

He assured that the Iranian people would continue on their path with strength and steadfastness, highlighting that the enemy is up against a united nation and will not achieve its objectives. Sheikh confidently stated that "civilization cannot be destroyed by bombs."

On the readiness of armed forces, Sheikh noted that the Army's equipment had been upgraded following the 40-day war, emphasizing that the Army is "ready with its finger on the trigger" to respond to threats proportionately.
