Tehran:Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has extended congratulations to the Algerian government and people on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the country's National Day.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, in a message to Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf on Sunday, Araghchi expressed his wishes for prosperity and well-being for Algeria.

He also conveyed hopes that Iran and Algeria, by maintaining an active and constructive approach in supporting the cause of justice, would enhance their joint efforts and utilize available capacities to expand cooperation at bilateral, regional, and international levels.
