Tehran: Esmaeil Baqaei, spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has emphasized that a civilization that fails to resolve the problems it has created is a 'decadent civilization.'

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Baqaei shared a message on X on Friday night quoting passages from "Discourse on Colonialism" by Aim© C©saire. He cited C©saire's assertion that a civilization unable to address its self-created problems is inherently decadent. Baqaei further highlighted C©saire's critique, noting that civilizations ignoring their most crucial issues are characterized as sick, and those compromising their principles are on a path to demise.

The message underscores a warning that civilizations increasingly indulge in hypocrisy, which becomes more apparent and less deceiving over time, suggesting a call to action for societies to confront and solve their inherent issues.
