Tehran: Iranian lawmakers have issued a joint statement, expressing support for Yemeni fighters in their pro-Palestine operations, saying that they are standing on the right side of history. The statement, issued on Sunday, was signed by 150 lawmakers.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the statement praised the bravery, courage, resistance, and valor of Yemeni fighters against what they termed the criminal United States and the child-killing Israeli regime. The lawmakers emphasized that these actions have proven the Yemeni fighters’ stance on the right side of history.

The Iranian lawmakers further expressed their pride as representatives of Iran’s nation, acknowledging the bold and heroic efforts of the Yemeni fighters. They highlighted the steadfastness, bravery, and unwavering resolve demonstrated by the Yemeni fighters, which, according to them, has defeated both the U.S. and the Israeli regime.

The statement also emphasized the unbreakable bond between the Yemeni fighters and Iran’s nation, asserting that the resistance axis, which includes nations like Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, stands firm against U.S. and Zionist aggression. The lawmakers concluded by expressing their belief that the era of Zionist tyranny will eventually lead to its annihilation.

In recent months, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched operations against targets in Israeli-occupied territories and vessels heading for Israel, aiming to pressure the regime to halt its war against Palestinians in Gaza. Additionally, the Yemeni populace has been holding weekly protests on Fridays in solidarity with Gazans.
