Khaf: Mowlavi Sadr Ad-Din Ahrari, the Friday Prayer Leader in Iran’s northeastern city of Khaf, has stressed the importance of unity as a crucial element in countering the schemes of adversaries. Speaking in an interview ahead of Unity Week in Iran, Ahrari highlighted the necessity of maintaining solidarity among Muslims, both Shia and Sunni, as a fundamental strategy to resist the plots of foes.
According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ahrari cautioned that enemies, particularly the Israeli regime, are actively pursuing hostile objectives against Muslims and the oppressed people of Gaza through various deceptive tactics. He emphasized that Unity Week is a legacy of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, and serves as a potent symbol of the Islamic Ummah’s need for solidarity.
In the current global scenario, Ahrari noted that global arrogance seems to be united against Islam and Muslims. In light of these challenges, he called on believers to uphold their unity and remain vigilant to uncover and counter enemy conspiracies.
Unity Week is a notable observance within the Islamic calendar, celebrated annually between two significant dates: the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal, acknowledged by Sunni Muslims as the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and the 17th of Rabi al-Awwal, commemorated by Shia Muslims.
