Tashkent: Iranian weightlifter Farhad Gholizadeh swept three gold medals in the 110kg category at the Asian Junior Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, winning the snatch, clean and jerk, and total events.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Gholizadeh lifted 172kg in the snatch and 210kg in the clean and jerk, securing a total of 382kg to sweep all three golds. His performance highlighted Iran's strength in the competition and showcased his prowess in weightlifting.

In the 110+kg category, another Iranian weightlifter, Taha Nematimoghadam, also delivered an impressive performance by earning two silvers in the clean and jerk and total, along with a bronze in the snatch. This achievement added to Iran's growing list of successes in the championships, emphasizing the country's strong presence in the sport.
