Iran’s Acting Defense Minister Criticizes US Rhetoric

Hanoi:Brigadier General Majid Ibn al-Reza, Iran's acting defense minister, has criticized the United States for its persistent threats and rhetoric directed at Iran. He emphasized that the outcome of any conflict would be determined on the battlefield rather than through words.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, Ibn al-Reza conveyed his message through social media, stating, "Our missiles determine the distance between you and us," directly addressing the US and cautioning against any new military provocations. He derided Washington's approach, likening it to "sketching war in the Pentagon's kindergarten" and dismissed the idea that global divisions could be dictated through speeches and theatrics.

He further warned the American leadership, saying, "Make a mistake, and you will see a new map being drawn," suggesting that Iranian missile capabilities could target adversaries wherever they may be. Highlighting Iran's missile reach, he mentioned past and potential future capabilities "Yesterday the Sea of Oman, today the Indian Ocean, and tomorrow the Bay of Pigs."
