Iran’s Army Launches Missile and Drone Attacks on US Bases in Kuwait

Tehran: The Iranian Army has conducted missile and drone attacks targeting US military bases in Kuwait, as tensions between Washington and Tehran escalate.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the attacks took place early Tuesday and focused on key US installations, including Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base, Camp Al-Adiri, and Camp Arifjan. The Iranian Army's ground forces launched surface-to-surface missiles at Camp Arifjan, aiming to dismantle HIMARS missile systems and weaken the enemy's missile capabilities by disrupting their offensive and defensive operations.

The Iranian Army further reported targeting administrative buildings and direction-finding antennas at Camp Arifjan using loitering munitions. These munitions also struck the helicopter parking area at Al-Adiri Camp and a building housing US troops at Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base.

Camp Arifjan is one of the largest US military bases in Southwest Asia and serves as a central hub for the US Army in the region. Camp Al-Adiri is strategically important, housing Apache, Chinook, and Black Hawk helicopters operated by US naval and air forces. Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base is crucial for logistics and support, playing a significant role in US air and surveillance operations in West Asia.
