Tehran: Iran's junior team has claimed one silver and four bronze medals at the Asian Junior Championships Individuals 2026 in Amman, Jordan. Iranian athletes have earned these results in the remaining junior weight categories. According to Islamic Republic News Agency, in the women's team, Mahshid Safari in the -70 kg category advanced through repechage and secured the bronze medal. As for the men's team, Sepehr Norouzi in the -90 kg category took bronze, and Abolfazl Mohbi in the same weight category also claimed bronze. In the +100 kg, Pouria Banaeian reached the final and finished with the silver medal. Asian Junior Championships Individuals 2026 was held from 18 July to 19 July in Amman, Jordan, with 20 countries and 173 judoka.
