According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the Iranian team showcased a strong performance in the 6th edition of the Asian Beach Games. Despite losing the first set, the team bounced back to win the second and third sets. The tightly contested match saw China claim the fourth set, pushing the game into a penalty shootout. In the decisive shootout, Iran emerged victorious with a 3-2 win, securing their position as champions.
